Oh Lala, oh Lala, the most "precious heart" of mama How God is gracious for a blessing so great Too dear to be a secret, mama's "nirvana" Oh Lala, oh Lala we can BEARLY (barely) wait!

The anticipation of planning a baby shower for my beloved Lala has been a cherished dream. My Pinterest boards are brimming with diverse baby shower themes, reflecting the excitement I feel as I meticulously think and plan for this special occasion. Unlike the typical 'gender reveal' baby shower, I've opted for a separate, simpler celebration for that purpose.

So, why did I choose the 'bear theme'?

Despite my love for all things pink, my desire was for Lala's baby shower to radiate uniqueness. Steering away from the predictable 'typical pink baby shower' for a girl, I opted for neutral tones. Faced with the choice of a Boho or Bear theme, I leaned towards the Bear-Themed Baby Shower, infusing a subtle touch of Boho charm.

DIY invitations & Guest List.

I've always been the DIY ate & tita and I took on the role of a DIY mommy this time around. Crafting the invitations myself, I printed a select few for keepsake photos and sent a digital version to our guests. A simple, neutral-coloured guest list completed the personal touch.

Now, let's talk setup, guests, and food.

With an intimate gathering exclusively for family, the focus was on quality over quantity. Our chosen suki provided a custom cake and cupcakes, a delightful treat that only set us back ₱1800. Miraculously, a local party decorator transformed the backdrop into a dreamy setting for a mere ₱2500.

Turning to the aesthetic details, I created a charming banner on Canva, printed and cut it, and strung it up with yarn. The rustic table hosted an assortment of carefully arranged food items. For the dining table, a centrepiece of 'lechon belly,' a candle, and glasses ordered online last year completed the cosy setup.

As the day unfolded, the intimate affair exceeded expectations. Amidst the warmth of congratulatory messages, I took pride in the outcome, achieving a beautifully curated celebration without breaking the bank. I eagerly look forward to sharing these memories with our beloved Lala as she grows older.
