(In celebration of Earth Day, here's a poem from a baby's POV)

Let's count one, two, three

Come, let's plant a tree!

April 22 is Earth Day.

Listen to what I say.

I'm a 10-month baby,

in 20 years, when I'm a lady—

thinking lately—

of what the Earth may be...

Will the oceans still be blue?

Or filled with trash flowed through?

Will there be greens everywhere and fresh air?

And animals treated with care?

A beautiful place for us to live.

It's free. Everyone has a share to give.

Save trees and plant more.

For every baby, a greener future is in store.
