Lala's Magical Debut as Snow White: Trick or Treat 2022 Adventure

This Halloween marked a special milestone for our little one—Lala's very first Trick or Treat adventure, and she did it in enchanting style as the fairest of them all, Snow White!
As we adorned her in the iconic yellow and blue dress, complete with a red ribbon in her hair, Lala's innocence radiated an extra layer of sweetness to the classic fairy tale character. The moment she saw her dress, her eyes sparkled with wonder and excitement.
In various countries, streets and homes come alive with pumpkins and costumes as children knock on doors, joyfully shouting "Trick or Treat" in exchange for candies. In the Philippines, this festive tradition is more common in upscale subdivisions, with malls hosting Trick or Treat events. This year, we decided to participate in the Trick or Treat at Fortridge Food Park. While we missed the children's party, we arrived just in time for the exciting candies and costume contest.
Dinner at the food park was delightful, with delicious treats to savour. However, when it came to the trick or treat itself, I must admit that the quality and quantity of candies were subpar for me. I couldn't help but wish that the food stall owners had been more generous with candies, preserving the little ones' enthusiasm and efforts. Despite this, Lala had her share of joy during the costume contest, making an appearance on the stage.
Even though Lala is too young to express herself verbally, her first Halloween proved to be a magical experience filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Although she was carried throughout the program, the sheer joy on her face was unmistakable. Someday, I'll have something to show her, a reminder of how her first trick or treat unfolded.
